    THE HISTORY MANUSCRIPT IS IN!

Big news, Orange Netball fans! The whistle has officially blown on phase one: the manuscript for Scoring Goals: 84 Years of Orange Netball has been delivered to the publisher!

We’re now starting the 6-7 month publishing journey - right on track for a massive launch during the 2026 season.

    A Huge Thank You

This project wouldn't be moving at this pace without our receptive first sponsors. A massive shout-out to:

    • OCTEC Limited

    • Robin Thompson

    • Tony Sullivan, Llangawirra Pastoral

    • Cara Denman, Priceline Pharmacy

    • Tim Gray, Terry White Chemart

    • Leanne Boss, JBM Accounting

    • A couple of anonymous (but you know who you are!)

Because of your generosity, we could sign the contract, move on to publishing, and are already halfway to our funding goal (to cover the entire cost of the book)!

    To the ONA Community

To the many members of the ONA family who shared stories, dug through old photo albums, and answered my endless questions—thank you. Your contributions are what make this book special. And a special thanks for being so patient with my "persistent pestering" over the last few months! It was all for a good cause, I promise.

    What’s Next?

    • More Sponsors Welcome: I’m still happy to chat with anyone who wants to help us get over the line!

    • GoFundMe: I’ll be opening a page soon for anyone who’d like to make a personal contribution to the project.

Thanks for being part of this journey to preserve 84 years of local history. Let’s get this book to the finish line!

    Pam Ryan
